After a disappointing experience with another well known local surf shop, @kcoastsurfshop completely restored our faith.
We had my son’s favorite skimboard repaired at the end of last season by another shop but the repair didn’t hold up at all and was questionable that it was truly even repaired. When we took it back, they offered only quick, low-quality fixes and never took responsibility for the original repair. They sanded the board down and made the seem weaker, chipped the paint, and honestly left it looking worse than before.
Then we brought it to K-Coast, and the difference was incredible. They went above and beyond! not only did they properly repair the board, but they also carefully matched the paint with a complementary color so it looks great again. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were obvious.
From now on, K-Coast is the only place we’ll trust with our skimboard repairs. We love supporting local businesses, and this is exactly why. Great customer service, quality work, and people who genuinely care about doing the job right.

Great selection of Surf, Skate and beach stuff. Everything you can think of. Tons of apparel and swimwear, surf boards and souvenirs. The location has on site parking and is two levels with an elevator for those how can’t do the stairs. We loved looking around at everything K Coast has to offer. Shottis Pointe next store was great as well. Worth the trip over if you are in town.
