Reminds me of some of the old gyms I frequented back in my youngbol days. Loved it, has all you need. Opens at 5am so if you plan to visit at that time the entrance will be in the back. Day passes are $17.50.

Overall great gym, good equipment (some of it older but well maintained). There is a good selection of equipment granted its very tight and many machines only have a couple inches between them, although I’d say that isn’t a concern for most people. The rates aren’t the best, but if you have an edge fit membership it’s free to use as of the recent ownership change. Summer 2024 update* this place has been bought out just like edgewater fitness and they completely changed the space. Once they finish swapping equipment this would be a solid 5 stars, some of the equipment is still past its prime but much better than before.

I have been going to this gym every summer for at least 10 years. They typically have a three day pass for the week when I am vacationing there when they were golds and coastal fitness, they changed this policy without telling me and said I had to use the 3 day pass over 3 consecutive days! This is a dumb policy and they should have explained this to me beforehand. It also really makes no sense and should allow users to use those three gym days over a weeks timeframe. As a result, I missed one day in the 3 consecutive days. When I told team member it was an honest mistake and didn’t know and asked if there was anything he could do, he said no and I would have to pay the normal price. Bad customer service for a member who goes every year. Other than that, very good gym which is why I gave it three stars.
